It was an unusually cold (40 degrees) and rainy day for Houston, Texas, but the Amateur Players Tour members all showed and battled the elements. Even in this strange weather for Texas, the members all played great!
Div 1: After both tying the front nine with 41’s, Joey Savoy shot a great score of 83 total from the Gold tees to hold off Ryan Ballard 86 to take the trophy.
Div 2: After being a few shots back at the turn, James Michalsky shot an even par 36 on the back nine for a 78 total score to take the trophy over 2nd place Jeff Brabham 81, 3rd place Bo Kirkwood 82, and 4th place Darien Duhon 83.
Div 3: Jason McCain shot 80 and won the playoff over 2nd place Tony Thibodeaux 80. Brady Langston placed 3rd with 83, followed by Mark Gonzales and Doyle Wofford who tied for 4th place with a score of 86.
Div 4: To take the trophy, Victor Rangel 88 won playoff over 2nd place Tony Rose 88. Martin Scarpati came in 3rd with a score of 91.
Div 5: After 5 years playing on tour Wayne Jackson finally took home hie first trophy with a score of 94 and won by 8 shots over 2nd place Javier Quintero who shot 102.
Senior Net Division: Wayne Jackson also pulled out a close “net” score win shooting -1 net, over 2nd place Tony Thibodeaux who shot a net even par 72.
