The Wilderness Golf Course Tournament Results
The Wilderness golf course was in great shape and a great test for the players. The weather was very hot, 98 degrees and little wind but most survived the heat and turned in good scores.
Div 1: 1st place trophy went Tyler Dawson shooting a 4 over 76. In 2nd place was new Houston member Ahmad Alam shooting 78.
Div 2: 1st place trophy went to Robbie Guinn who made just about every putt he had to shoot a great 74. Playing with him Jeff Branham took 2nd place with a 76. 3rd place wen to Bo Kirkwood shooting a 78.
Div 3: 1st place went to Robert Scarpati shooting a score of 80. In 2nd place only two strokes back with an 82 was Mark Gonzales. Tied in 3rd place was Tony Thibodeaux and James Medina both shooting 85.
Div 4: In one of the best battles of the tournament, 1st place had a three way tie with all shooting 84 and had to be settled in a playoff. Braden Petru took 1st place and Edgardo Acevedo and Martin Scarpati shared 2nd place.
Div 5:1st place went to Javier Quintero shooting a smooth 85. 2nd place went to Mark Petru with a 87 and in 3rd place was John Sparks shooting 90.
Senior Net Division: 1st place went to Edgardo Acevedo with a -5 net score. In a three way tie for 2nd place with all shooting -4 net was Jeff Brabham, Mark Petru and Tony Hanel.
