We had 72 players show up to participate at the Historic golf course in Greensboro, NC. The weather held off long enough for us to complete the event.
In Division 1 Wes Tyner continues his great play by shooting a 73(+2). The performance was good enough to win the event by 4 strokes.
In Division 2 we had the barn burner with more than 10 players breaking 80. Players were in a 3-way tie for 3rd place with scores of 74(+3). Terry Newsome, Pedro Montoya and J Combs split prize money for 3rd,4th, and 5th place. The winner of the event needed to play extra holes Juan Sedano and Chase Brown shot 73(+2). The winner after playoff was Chase Brown. Juan Sedano takes 2nd place but 1st place Senior Double Dip. Terry Newsome and Pedro Montoya split senior 2nd place.
In Division 3 we had players Deantwoin Davis and Jeremy Walley go back and forth to see who would outlast the other. In the end Jeremy Walley edged Dea Davis to win by with score of 77(+6). Davis scores a 78(+7) to finish solo 2nd. Duane Fisher takes solo 3rd place with a score of 82(+11). In The Senior Division Christy McCauley wins with a score of 85(+14).
In Division 4 players battled the rain coming down the stretch to post a score. Bedford Springs winner Daniel Henris continues his stellar play by shooting an 83(+12) to take solo 3rd place. In 2nd place Dennis Arreola scores an 82(+11) to take solo 2nd in open and Senior Double Dip Division. Anthony Stephenson steals the show again by winning both the open and the Senior Double Dip Division to secure his 2nd victory of the year with a score of 80 (+9). Congratulations!
In Division 5 it was another 1 player show with Hector Luna winning both Open and Senior Double Dip Division with a score of 89(+18).
