Tuesday, June 7th, 2022, brings us to Tour Stop #6 at the beautiful Pound Ridge GC in Pound Ridge, NY. It was a beautiful sunshiny day despite the 20+ mph winds gusting over 40mph. Let's see how the players did in the conditions.
Div 1: In what was a great match decided by just one stroke the top three players battled it out. In the end Steve Sullivan (87) held off Chris Vience (88) and Chris Fox (88) to take home the victory!
Div 2: A familiar name to the winner circle John Sheehan (79) found himself once again raising the trophy! Winning by 4 strokes over 2nd place Joe Bencivenga (83) and 8 strokes over 3rd place Joe Arnold (87) John secured the victory!
Div 3: Four strokes separated the top 3 players here in D3 with Philly Tour member Ed Gibert (85) edging out Philly Tour member John Eastlack (89) and Justin Epstein (89) for the win!
Div 4: With his first win on Tour Keno Chambers (93) secured the victory by just one stroke over vet Jeff Marshall (94). Rounding out the top four were Walter Stashin (97) and Joe Renzo (98).
Div 5: It would take a playoff to decide a champ in div 5! Kamil Lyczko (99) defeated John Sans (99) in that playoff to claim tournament bragging rights! Just one stroke off lead and finishing in a tie for 3rd place were Don McCabe (100) and Mike Milinic (100).
It was a great day on the tour, and we thank everyone who participated! We hope to see you all at our 2-day tournament at the “Eisenhower Open” in East Meadow NY on June 25-26th 2022
