Division 1
Not many people can say they shot under par with a double bogey, but our D1 winner can! Congrats to Tim Saunders (Smoky Mountain) for shooting a 2 under par 70 and having a double bogey and 2 eagles on the card! Well played Tim! Congrats to Derek Foulke (Atlanta) for placing 2nd in his first tournament since advancing from D2 to D1! And congrats to Ramsey Kimbrough (Smoky Mountain) for coming in 3rd place. Well played fellas!
Division 2
It's not how you start but how you finish! The winner in D2 started out with a 43, but kicked it in gear on the back 9 with 2 birdies and shot a 1 over 37 for a total of 80. Congrats to Atlanta Chapter Owner AJ Ayala for coming in 1st place today! Chris Heiner (Smoky Mountain) made the trip down to Atlanta worth it by finishing in 2nd place, only 2 shots back! And Atlanta APT newcomer Sean Pierce lost in a scorecard playoff (final 6 holes) to Chris, but still well played!
Division 3
It was a nail-biter all day to see who was going to come out on top for D3! Congrats to Shawn Powers (Atlanta) for winning by 1 shot over Atlanta APT Guest Landon Jackson! Landon got a nice taste of tournament golf today with taking home an APT Visa Gift Card and some cash from Skins Game! And congrats to last tournament winner James Davis (Atlanta) for finishing in a solid 3rd place!
Division 4
Congrats to our winner in D4! This player only went out and shot the round of his life today! Congrats to Jarrett Keyes (Atlanta), who was able to play an excellent round of golf, shot 79, and won by a whopping 8 shots! Our 2nd place finisher was APT newcomer Dophie Thomas (Atlanta), who came up a little short today. And in 3rd place Ted Kitchens (Atlanta) had another solid day but just came up short. Congrats and well played!
Division 5
We had to come up with a new saying for our D5 winner, and that is "always a best man, never a groom!" Well, he can't say this anymore since this player got their first win today! Congrats to Kip Moore (Atlanta) for winning by 1 shot over Doug Gibbs (Atlanta) by making birdie on 18! And congrats to Robbie Carlton (Smoky Mountain) for making the trip and playing a solid round and coming in 3rd.
