On a hot and humid afternoon in the mountains in Brevard, NC at the Etowah Valley Resort, 43 players teed up to take home the name of champion.
In Division 2, Matthew Moore from Greer, SC took home the hardware while firing a 2 over par 74 that included 6 birdies. Brandt Howard (Fletcher, NC) was second all alone shooting 78.

In Division 2, Michael Fuller (Knoxville, TN) shot a 9 over par round of 81 to win by 1 over Bobby Ream (Greenville, SC).

In Division 3, Jordan Wilkins (Cornelius, NC) what and impressive round of 79 to win by 3. Jake Lancaster (Greer, SC) and Ronnie Strange (Spartanburg, SC). Both shot 82 to tie for second and split the second-place prizes. With the Victory and his confidence rising, Jordan accepted a promotion to Division 2 for the remainder of the season.

In Division 4, it was a 2-horse race for much of the afternoon with 2 players distancing themselves from the rest of the field. When 18 holes were completed, Chase Humphries (Easley, SC) takes home the victory with a score of 78. Nick Murphy (Dawsonville, GA) was right there with a score of 79. Nick Commented that his game had been improving when he broke 80 earlier in the week and his strong play continued into the event. Both players after posting the scores had their indexes updated to the point where both will receive a promotion to Division 3 for the next event and remainder of the season.

In Division 5, Steve Kwon (Charlotte, NC) and Darin Broyles (Maryville, TN) both shot rounds of 95 to tie for the lead after 18 holes. It only took one playoff hole for us to crown Steve Kwon as the champion and winner for the second time is 7 days.

Senior Net is an optional contest where 50 and older can win using 80 percent of their course handicap. Frank Wilder (Cashiers, NC) with a 70 took home the trophy. Second place went to Sonny Smith (Lyman, SC) with a score of 72. Third place went to our Division 2 champion Michael Fuller coming in with a 73.
