2022 Colonial Country Club Golf Tournament Results

Colonial CC Revenge had 51 players at some of the best greens in the Triad area. The weather held off long enough for us to complete the round with a very small delay. 

In Division 1 Kyle Moffett took control of the event early on and never looked back. Kyle 73(+2) was good enough for a 4-shot victory. Park William secured 2nd place with a 77(+6). 

In Division 2 we have a very tight Local Player of the Year points race. So, every event is important to pick up points. The round today had 2 players tight in the race elevate to the top of the leaderboard. Juan Sedano and Dave Field sat at the top of the leaderboard. In the end Dave Field secures the victory with a score of 75(+4) to win by 2 shots over Sedano (Senior Double Dip winner) and Josh Johnston 77(+6). Terry Newsome rounds out the top 4 with a score of 80(+9). 

In Division 3 we had a playoff between Kevin Stines and Aaron Tripp. The players both shot 84(+13). In the playoffs Tripp emerged victorious. Kevin Stines takes runner up (Senior DD winner). David Cline wraps up 3rd place (Senior DD 2nd). 

In Division 4 Gary Nivens from CLT tour had the mission to show us the true meaning of Double Dip. Nivens competed in both open division and Senior Double Dip. The 84(+13) was good enough for a 3 shot victory in both contests. Congratulations Gary! 

In Division 5 Michael Charles secures the victory with a 93(+22) to win Colonial CC revenge. The victory here and his Forest Oaks 2-day victory puts him in good position for Local Player of the Year.
