The Aberdeen open was Held on Saturday, April 16 at Aberdeen CC in Longs, SC. The course was in best shape I have ever seen it in. We had 44 players begin the day. Scott and his staff were amazing!
Div. 1- We had 5 players competing for the crown. 2021 Champion Chris Collins held of McCabe Reim to be our first defending Champion for our tour. Brandyn Norton finished third and Travis Powell (Elvis) after a few weeks off due to performing allover the country took 4th. Robby Sciacia playing in his first event on the tour said he really enjoyed how the tour was ran and looked forward to competing in the future, Chris received a $100 Visa Gift card.
Div. 2 - Had 7 players and it was a battle to the end. Don Sheads and Chris Conner battled to the end and ended up having to go to a 1 hole playoff with Don winning the first playoff hole. Tony Brown from Ky finished 3rd one shot back. Mick Correll rounded out the top 4. Don received $110 for the win with Chris $30. Paid in Visa Gift Cards.
Div. 3 -We had 9 players and Kevin Harper took his second event in a row. He is close to graduating to Div 2. Cliff Marcum playing in his only his 2nd event of the season finished 2nd. Rick Lee took 3rd and Jack Curry back from traveling finished 4th. Kevin received $130 and Cliff received $50. Paid in Visa Gift cards.
Div. 4 - Had 12 participants competing for the crown. Richard Hood playing his best round of the year, 84 edged out Cooter Douglass by 3 shots.Brain Raymond the 2021 POY took 3rd with Ron Newman rounding out the top 4. With the win he received a $140, Cooter $60 and Brian $40 all in Visa Gift cards.
Div. 5 - We had 10 players start the day. Donald Baggett carded his best round of the year to take the title. Dalton Mitchell started out on fire but slipped on the back to finish 2nd. Ricky Compton and Travi Shively finished tied for 3rd. Donald received $140 with Dalton receiving his first Visa Gift Card for the year. $60.
