The fall weather in NC at Sapona Ridge CC was perfect with temperatures of 80+ degrees. We had 48 golfers take on some of the best zyosia greens around. The event wraps up Carolina Triad season before Local Finals.  

In Division 1 the scores were not as low as the players are accustomed to but we had players battle for a late season victory. Wes Jones cards a 77(+6) to take 2nd place. The victory would beind the solid play of Trip Shelton scoring a 75(+4) to take the victory.  

In Division 2 the battle was a lot tighter. There were 3 players battling to the end. Helms birdied 3 of 4 final holes to pull of the victory over Mac McMillan. Helms 78(+7) was good by 1 shot over McMillians’ 79(+8). Juan Sedano secured Senior division. 

 In Division 3 Mitch Altman scored 80(+9) to take the victory over Jason Smith and we had 3-way tie for 3rd place Duane Fisher, Russell McDonald and Josh Lemmond. Smith shot 84(+13) for 2nd . In 3rd place was 86(+15)/ Altman also secured Senior Double division  

 In Division 4 Andy Parker was able post early clubhouse lead 85(+14) in hopes to win. Ronnie Thorton, coming off victory early this week, tried to hold the lead with 3 to go but fell short. Parker was able to win Senior and Open Divisions at Sapona CC. 

In Division 5 Billy Jones brought his A game looking to make a run a Senior Double Dip POY. Jones secures victory by 6 shots to win both Open and Senior Double Dip
