The Nashville Chapter of the Amateur Players Tour visited The Hermitage on April 29th to play President’s Reserve. The course was in fantastic condition and for the 2nd straight event, the weather was outstanding. 92 golfers competed for a prize pool totaling just over of $5,000.

The Division 1 leaderboard was topped by Robert Sain, who hails from Murfreesboro. He managed to put together a fantastic round, finishing three strokes under par with a score of 69. Sain played solid golf with 4 birdies against 1 bogey.

Hot on his heels was John Cacchio, from Nashville. He finished his round with a score of 71, putting him one stroke behind Sain.

Rounding out the top three was Russell Seal from New Market and the Tennessee East Chapter. He managed to finish his round with an eagle 3 on the par 5 18th and an even par score of 72.

Jon Rowden from Dickson emerged as the Division 2 champion, with a final score of +3 75. Rowden was consistent and steady with 2 nines of 37 and 38.

Coming in second place was John Bean from Nashville who finished with a score of +4 76. Bean's birdie on the 18th pushed him in to solo 2nd place and break the logjam for 3rd place.

Tied for third place were John Bradshaw from Crossville and Lou Provost from Brentwood, both of whom finished with a score of +5 77.

In Division 3, Matt White from Murfreesboro emerged as the division champion, with a final score of +6. He maintained his composure and consistency throughout the round and posted 3 birdies to propel him to victory.
