Our next Tour Stop on the Amateurs Players Tour brought us to Port Jefferson CC!
It was a great day at a nice private Country Club on the North Shore of Long Island.
Division 1: 18 holes just wasn’t enough for Patrick Fennelly(76) & Brian Gallahue(76), so off they went to sudden death- Patrick took home the hardware winning the playoff. His 1st win on the APT Tour. Finishing in 3rd, just 1 stroke behind them was Chris Farley(77).
Division 2: Battling back and forth all day- Joe Arnold(76) & Scott Padova(78) – In the end Joe took home the victory & trophy. Finishing in 3rd place was PJ Vizzio(82).
Division 3: For his 2nd win on the APT Tour- Joe Cortez(77) played a fine round and took home the trophy. Finishing in 2nd place Patrick Fogarty(82), a couple stokes back - Sal Ditta(84), A. Galliani(84), Dom Grosso(84) and Michael Benoit(84) all tied for 3rd place.
Division 4: Battling all day A. Caraccio(84) was able to hold the lead and take home the hardware. Some 4 stokes back - Ray Kenchik(88) and Kermitt Bowen(88) finished in a 2nd place tie.
Division 5: Another 1st time winner John Balingit(92) fought to the end to secure his trophy. Just 2 back was Dan Andrews(94) and rounding out the top 3 – Tom Sweeney(96).
