Winners in the 2021 Barefoot Challenge

We were able to miss all but a little bit of the rain. Pace of play was incredible with a completely full golf Love Course. We had 52 players teeing it up. The course was amazing as always and the Barefoot Staff was top notch! Thanks for all you do for myself and the Amateur Players Tour-Carolina Coast Chapter.
Division 1 - Will Morgan 74 edged out Chris Collins by 2 strokes. Chris won the Sr Div 1 Title.
Division 2 - Travis Wartluft 75 playing one of his best rounds of the season, took home the title. Joey Todd finished 2nd firing a 81. Travis also won the Sr Div 2 Title
Division 3 - Rick Kelly and Jimmy Starrett ended the day all square both carding a 82. Rick won on the 2nd playoff hole. Rick also took him Div 2 Senior Title as well.
Division 4 was also a close battle to the end. Richard Hood and Colin Taylor finished the day tied for the lead, both firing 83. Richard won the playoff and by doing so captured both the Open and Sr Division Titles.
Division 5 - Cody Peyton one of our young guns took home the title by carding one of his best rounds so far. 88. Ricky Compton finished 2nd 93 which gave him the Sr Div 5 Title.
We have 2 stages remaining. Stage 3 will be on the Fazio course on Aug 14 and the finals will be played on the Dye Course in September.
Next Tour Stop will be June 20th, Father’s Day Invitational @ the River Club in Pawleys Island.
