Mill Creek Golf Club Tournament Results

The weather in Mebane, NC was very pleasant for golfers to come out and play Mill Creek CC. The golf course was very vulnerable to some good scores. Looking forward to returning to this track in the future. 

In Division 1 we had a very convincing performance put on by Anthony Brown Jr. The rising junior golfer of NC A&T University put up a solid 69 (-3) to secure the victory over our Senior D1 winner Park Williams who shot 73(+1). 

In Division 2 there were several players that played very well through the front nine. The leader on the front was CT Ton with 35 (-1) on the front. On the back nine Seth Hawkins made a push but CT Ton held on to grab his first victory of the year in the open and Senior Division with a score of 72(E). Seth Hawkins continues his solid play as he finishes runner up with a 73(+1) 

In Division 3 there was our tightest battle throughout the day. There were 3 players in the hunt coming down 18. Ricky Siler set the clubhouse lead with an 84(+12). Nimish Patel and Patrick Rodgers came down the stretch. Patel was able to come in with a score of 83(+11) to secure victory in the Open and The Senior Division. 

   In Division 4 we had a visitor from our West Virginia chapter Tyler Ellison. Ellison started the day off very hot as he took a 5 shot lead heading into the back nine of the tournament. The lead was cut to 2 once it was all said and done. Ellison was victorious with a score of 89(+17). In the senior Division Dennis Arreola and Wayne Bishop finished tied for 1st. 

 In Division 5 Mike Charles returned to the event that he won last year to defend and Charles did exactly what he needed to do by posting an 85(+13) to win by 5 shots. In the Senior Division Keith Thomas was able to take victory.
