33 Golfers took on the stunning layout that Kiskiack Golf Club provides. Fast greens and tough pin placements where on the menu for the day. Shane Studer captured the D1 Title with a +7 (79) from the Tips and also won a CTP on the beautiful 11th Hole with 9’4”.
Tour Rookie, Christian Alderucci captured a 2 shot victory in Division 2, over Christopher Denz by firing a 2 over 74. Nathan Beck finished 3rd with an 82.
Chuck Nimmo pulled a worst to first from Saturday to Sunday and captured the Division 3 Title with a one shot victory over Fred Levine and Craig Crowley.
William McHale rebounded on Sunday to easily capture D4 by firing a +15 (87)
Mike Jones made it a double up weekend as he bested a 10 player field by firing a 91 to win by 2 over Kyle Carsten. Les Bullock finished 1 shot back in 3rd with a 94.
Jerry Anderson captured 2 Net Super Skins, while Brian Shields, Fred Levine, Kyle Carsten and William McHale each captured one. Fred Levine, Mike Barton and Christopher Denz each captured a Super Skin.
Kyle Carsten, Larry Patterson and Brian Shields also captured a Closest to the Pin.
Virginia Capital’s next event is the Chapter Championship on September 17-18 at Stonehouse and Royal New Kent.
The 2023 Season will open on October 23 at Westfields Golf Club.
