Kansas City’s Spring Hill Championship Results

What a great event today! The weather was perfect, the course was in the best shape I've ever seen it. Hats off to the staff at Sycamore Ridge! Thank you to the 56 players who came out today in search of an awesome trophy and some prize money!

In D1, there was a close race between Tom Clifford, Jacob Bruhn and Tyler Hartsock. All players were within a single stroke most of the round. Tom went into 18 with a one shot lead, but put his tee shot into the water opening the door for the other two. Tyler and Jacob struggled on the green, and Tom was able to clinch the victory on his maiden voyage!

Garrett Wilson continues his fine run of form and took a commanding win in D2. Garrett fired off a solid 76, winning by 6 shots and securing his promotion to D1.

First timer Brian Applegate played some great golf today! We thought for sure it was going to be a 2 way playoff with Dillon Rogers and Brian, but Dillon suffered and unfortunate chip which sealed the victory for Brian, shooting a solid 86 in D3! Great job Brian!

Brandon Hale is another player who can't seam to stop winning now! He's working his way to a promotion in D3 thanks to his great play recently! Brandon shot an 83 today to win D4 by 4 strokes over Chris Young.

Paul Barnett gets his first tournament win in almost 3 years today! Paul was tied with David Szczucinski through 14 holes, and despite Paul stumbling on 18, he played 15-17 well enough to get the victory in D5 with a 95.

And the most exciting thing of the day...we had ONE super skin today that went to Richard Anderson for $430!! Plus another $26 for his flight skin! That's a way to make up for any bad play!
