Golf Tournament at The Ridges Results

38 golfers from all across the South made the trip to The Ridges at Village Creek for the two day event hosted by the Arkansas Chapter. With $2,420.00 up for grabs in the prize pool, and $2,696.00 in side games it would be the largest payout in the Arkansas Chapters first season. This weekend opposed a lot of challenges, from thunderstorms to the clubhouse being struck by lightning. Taking out the Internet, leaving us to go resort back to a more traditional way of keeping score (Paper). Without live scoring, no one knew how they were doing in their division. The suspense must have been unreal. After two days of golfing in the rain, everyone got to come in and dry off.  

In Division One, Ed McDougall would finish in first place. With the round one total of 75 and around two total of 78 shooting a total of 153 for the weekend. Derek Jocelyn would finish in second place, shooting a day one total of 78 and a day two total of 84. Shooting a total score of 162 for the weekend. Russell Cook would finish in Third place shooting at day one total of 79. And a day two total of 84. Posting a 163 total score for the weekend. 

In division two, Kevin Connolly would finish in first place. With the round one total of 76 and around two total of 84 shooting a total of 160 for the weekend. Tim Miller would finish in second place, shooting a day one total of 77 and a day two total of 85. Shooting a total score of 162 for the weekend. Paul Luker would finish in third place shooting at day one total of 83 and a day two total of 81. Posting a 164 total score for the weekend. 

In Division Three, Elisha Payne would finish in first place. With the round one total of 85 and around two total of 81 shooting a total of 166 for the weekend. Jeff McMillian would finish in second place, shooting a day one total of 89 and a day two total of 81. Shooting a total score of 170 for the weekend. Caleb Goodwin would finish in third place shooting at day one total of 87 and a day two total of 85. Posting a 172 total score for the weekend. To overtake Drew Wray in a scorecard playoff. 

In Division Four, Jeff Corder would finish in first place. With the round one total of 85 and around two total of 90 shooting a total of 175 for the weekend. Jason Bucher would finish in second place, shooting a day one total of 88 and a day two total of 88. Shooting a total score of 176 for the weekend. Rob Luter would finish in third place shooting at day one total of 92 and a day two total of 85. Posting a 177 total score for the weekend. To edge out Kevin Brown in a scorecard playoff for third place.  

In division 5, Amaan Allahi would finish in first place. With the round one total of 98 and around two total of 89 shooting a total of 187 for the weekend. Jim Haslauer would finish in second place, shooting a day one total of 97 and a day two total of 93. Shooting a total score of 190 for the weekend. Donnie Warren would finish in third place shooting at day one total of 95 and a day two total of 97. Posting a 192 total score for the weekend. 

Derek Joslin won the chipping contest, chipping his last shot to 2’ for the WIN.  Derek will be traveling in style to his next event with his new Amateur Players Tour embroidered Projekt 21” puddle jumper.
