Last week, the Amateur Players Tour competed at Far Oaks Golf Club in Caseyville, IL. Far Oaks opened in 1998. It was designed by Bob Goalby and stands out from the crowd because of its well-manicured Bent Grass greens, Zoysia Fairways and uniqueness of each side.
In Division 1, Matt Minder and Nate McCutcheon went back and forth all day. Minder was able to beat McCutcheon by a single stroke shooting 1 over-par 73. John Todd of Wright City, MO shot 5 over-par 77 on the day.

In Division 2, Billy Davis continues his hot streak he has been on all season shooting 1 under-par 71. Chad Crawford of Wentzville, MO shot 3 over-par on the day. We had a four-way tie for 3rd between Matt Nemnich, Mark Donovan, Marco Tallerico, and David Adams all shooting 4 over-par 76.

In Division 3, Rex Meyer from the Indianapolis Chapter came over for a visit and shot a tremendous round of 2 over-par 74. Michael McCormick was hot on Meyer’s heels all day and just came up short shooting 3 over-par 75. Jason Christopher of St. Louis, MO shot 5 over-par 77 on the day.

In Division 4, Zach Runk chalked up his first win on the Amateur Players Tour shooting 11 over-par 83. Dolly Buenaventura had a great day shooting 13 over-par 85 on the day. We had a 4 way tie for 3rd between Bryce Vandas, Joseph Espeleta, Mike Scalera, and Steve Middendorf shooting 16 over-par 88.

In Division 5, Ryan Donovan chalked up his first win on Tour breaking 90 for the first time in his golfing career shooting 16 over-par 88. Tim Jones and Mark Galentine tied for 2nd shooting 21 over-par 93.
