Cumberland Trail Golf Tournament Results


Sunday saw some fantastic play out at Cumberland Trail Golf Club.  All 5 divisions were represented with all 5 divisions seeing repeat winners.

In Division 1 Justin Arens was making birdies from everywhere and totaled 7 all together.  Justin was playing birdie/bogey golf with 7 of both which led to a winning score of 72.  Tony Brown was steady all day with a 77 to finish in 2nd.

In Division 2 it was a shoot out most of the day between Keith Pluto, Ryan Auck, and Austin Decot.  After shooting even par 36 on the front Keith came to the house in 39 for an eventual winning score of 75.  Austin had a great steady round of 76 coming in 2nd.  Ryan Auck who was in the hunt most of the day came in 3rd with 77.

In Division 3 Ray Conley started slow with a 41 on the front nine but then kicked it in gear on the back nine with birdies on 14 and 15 to come into the house with 38 and a winning total of 79.  Rob Shim had a great scrambling round of 81 to post 2nd.  Ray also took Sr. Net with his great round.

In Division 4 it was another shoot out between Peter Roberts, Johnny Sherman, and Zachary Walker.  Peter started strong with 2 birdies on the front and turned in 38.  He hung in there down the stretch and posted a winning score of 81.  Johnny Sherman who won Mid Am Net, shot 82 and tied for 2nd with Zachary Walker who also posted a solid round of 82 in his first round up in Division 4 in Columbus.

In Division 5 Chad Lowe started strong and hung in there all day to post an impressive 89 and post back to back wins.  Terry Collins had a great back nine of 45 and posted 94 for 2nd.
