Coyote Ridge Golf Club Tournament Results

What a wonderful day to get together for a golf tournament! We would like to thank Coyote Ridge Golf Club for allowing us to host our tournament at their facilities. Every staff member we came in contact with was super nice and accommodating.  

 We had so much fun, and members were interested in returning again for another event. The course continually challenged players at every level. Our fastest group played in 4 hrs. 39 minutes, but we averaged a 5-hour round for all other groups. We learned that a 5-hour round with the wind conditions and the amount of public play in front of us on a Saturday was a good round. 

In D1: We had a 1-hole playoff between Andrew Morsinkhoff and Blake Ramirez who both came in with a +3 (75). Ramirez prevailed with a par, taking home the trophy and prize money. Coming in 3rd was Kevin Watts with an 80. 

In D2: Only 3 strokes separated 1st and 3rd places. Ray Smith shot 6 over (78) to win by 2nd place winner, Tom Lorenz (79). Coming in 3rd was Arkansas tour member, Mark Brailey with an 81. 

In D3: We had another close race with Randy Sitz taking home 1st place with an 87 to win by 1-stroke over Bruce Teel who had an 88. Third place was Raymond Smith Sr. with a 90. 

In D4: Playing his first tournament in the DFW APT, Jeffrey Sterling came in with an 87 to win by 6-strokes over Brian Downe who had a 93, while Mike Burgin came in 3rd with a 94. 

In D5: Winner Jason Bailey carded an 89 to win by 1 over Robin King’s 90. Michael Becker came in 3rd with a 94. 

Senior Net: 1st – Michael Becker, 2nd – Jeffrey Sterling, and 3rd – Randy Sitz 

Close to the Pins:  #3 – Mark Brailey, #11 – Tom Lorenz
