Blackthorn at the Ridges Golf Tournament Results

Div 2- It was a battle between out early and out late. Michael Fuller went out in the first group and fired a solid 78 in a round that consisted of 2 birdies. Todd Holmes matched Fuller’s 78 in the last group of the day including a 38 on the closing nine. It was Holmes who edged Fuller out on the 1st playoff hole to take home his 2nd victory of the season. 

Div 3- There was one player in D3 who broke 80 and that was Michael Ridge. Ridge made 12 pars on the tough Blackthorn course to earn the victory by 3 strokes over Steffan Schroeder who came home with an 82. Schroeder was one clear of David England who finished 3rd.  

Div 4- Sammy Sedman made it back-to-back victories on Monday at Blackthorn. Sedman used a solid 42 on the back nine to propel himself to a 4-shot victory over West Virginia’s Chris Lusk. Lusk finished 4 clear of Noah Lambert who finished 3rd.  

Div 5- When it was all said and done, there were 6 players within 2 shots of the lead. Andrew Larsen managed to edge out a duo of players by one as he shot a 92 to take home his 1st victory of the year. Chip Kirkland and Perry Schilling tied for 2nd with dueling 93s.
