Bayonet at Puppy Creek Golf Tournament Results

The weather in Fayetteville, NC was perfect for golfers to come out and take on Bayonet at Puppy Creek golf course. The golf course was very healthy and in great shape. Looking forward to returning to this track in the future.

In Division 1 we had a seesaw battle between David White and Ivan Jones. The largest deficit was 3 shots and that was quickly closed to 1 when David White eagles number 15. Jones was able to finish 1 under in his last 3 to shoot 72(E) to win by 1 shot.

In Division 2 there were several players that played very well through the front nine. The leader on the front was Chris Berry with 34 (-2) on the front. On the back nine Warren Rennox was making a push and he birdied the first 3 holes on the back nine and added another on 15 to shoot 75(+3). Berry was able to hold Rennox run by to finish at 72(E). Rennox also won the Senior Double Dip for Division 2.

In Division 3 there was a very impressive performance by Warren Hackler as he was the only player to break 80 with a score of 78(+6) and was able to win by 7 shots over Rob Andrews and Flip Lea. Lea wins scorecard playoff with lower back nine to secure 2nd place prize. In Division 3 Senior Double Dip Christy McCauley is victorious not bad for her first Division 3 competition.

In Division 4 players can make a real push for POY as the Top 3 players were not in the field this week. Andy Parker took full advantage of this circumstance to win the event by posting 85(+13) to win by 2 shots.

In Division 5 contest results in a victory and an automatic promotion. Chris Tuggle golf game had been trending in the right direction with scores hovering around low 90s and high 80s. Well today he put a complete round together and wins by 10 with a score of 83(+11) and becomes champion and promoted for his next event.
