SoCal Masters at Native Oaks Results

Division 1 
Christian Nicolini doesn’t get much time to play these days as founder and CMO of our partner Blue Tees Golf. That didn’t seem to matter on Saturday, as he fired a classy 73 including an eagle (good for $213 in skins!) on #2 and strolled to a 5 shot win over Alfonso Franco. Christian collected a $200 Visa Gift Card and the Hazel Golf Co custom headcover for his victory, which he says he will proudly display in his bag!

Division 2 
18 holes wasn’t enough to decide a winner in Division 2, as Grant Sigesmund battled back from 4 down at the turn to tie 2021 D2 SoCal POY Mark Lytle, with Super Bowl Champion Twon Fullman also in the mix after a 38 on the front 9. Mark and Grant would head back to the first tee for a sudden death playoff, which Mark claimed on the second hole to earn a $200 Visa Gift Card and the Masters Headcover! Grant took home a $50 Visa Gift card for second.

Division 3 
Marcus Zuniga already has a fresh looking golf bag, custom complete with Lakers colors. He will get to add some more color to that bag as his 84 was good for a three shot victory over Corey Hall! Both tour rookies overcame the tournament nerves to earn their positions- Marcus took home a $250 Visa Gift Card and the trophy, Corey a $75 Visa Gift Card for second. Well done!

Division 4 
The second division of the day to go to a sudden death playoff, Nancy Lindsay and Michael Zastoupil finished regulation tied at 89. Michael had chances to win it in regulation, but the difficult finishing holes took its toll- however he was able to bounce back and claim victory on the second playoff hole and earn his first APT win! Michael received the headcover plus a $250 Visa Gift Card, while Nancy received a $75 Visa Gift Card for second. The two also moved up in the very tight D4 POY race with their points earned!

Division 5 
Dennis McZeal likely will need to miss the next two local events on the schedule, so a strong performance Saturday was critical to maintain his lead in the POY standings. He came through in a big way, posting a 91- good for the victory, which came with a $200 Visa Gift Card and the headcover! His points lead increased, will someone catch him by PGA West?
