There were 47 players competing at Sapona Ridge CC on November 12,2023. The Fall-like weather made it very challenging. Here’s a recap of the winners and their scores in each division:
Division 1: 1st place – Ivan Jones with a score of 75 (+4). The Double Dip winner was Jeff Helms with a score of 80(+9)
Division 2: In Division 2, J Comb secured victory with a score of 79(+7). In 2nd place and senior double dip winner was Coung Ton with score of 80(+9). In 3rd place Phil Vangeersdaeln and 2nd Senior Double Dip.
Division 3: 1st place – Mitchell Long secures victory with 78(+7) . In 2nd place – Jt Bradley cards a sub 80 round. The 3rd place was a 3–way tie at 83(+12) between Justin Gainey, Ann Watkins and Tink Brown. The winner for Senior Double Dip was Ann Watkins.
Division 4: 1st place –Fred Carvalho wins both open and Senior double dip contest with a score of 92(+21)
Division 5: 1st place –Rivia Brown starts the season right where she left off at with a score of 100(+29) to win both open and senior double dip.
The second event of 2024 season is off to a great start and we would like to say congratulations to all the winners and participants in the tournament!
