    The Legacy hosted the Nashville Chapter’s our second split-field of the early portion of our season. 101 players, split by division over Saturday and Sunday, competed across 5 divisions for a total prize pool and optional side games totaling over $5,000. Once again, we were blessed with spring temperatures with plenty of sunshine. 

    In Division 1, Nashville’s Dennis King scores +3 75 and captures the two-stroke victory over Nashville’s Brannan Atkinson.  Atkinson finished the day at +5 77. A host of players finished at +6 78 and in a tie for 3rd place: Joe Barron from Nashville, Brad Golden from Sparta, Robert Sain from Murfreesboro and Trevor Mace from Clarksville. 

    In Division 2, John Bean from Nashville notched his 1st victory of his APT career with his round of +3 75.  He scored the one-stroke victory over JP Courtney, who posted +4 76. Finishing in a tie for 3rd place with rounds of +6 78 were Will Norman from Columbia and Gregory Wyatt from Smyrna.  

    In Division 3, Jeff Hudgins from Smyrna captures the three-stroke win with his round of +9 81.  In a tie for 2nd, new member Sean Samuels from Nashville and John Mangels from Murfreesboro who both posted rounds of +12 84. Jay Mantei from Mount Juliet takes home 4th place with his round of +13 85. Rounding out the prize pool places in 5th place was Lowe Prescott and his round of +17 89. 

    In Division 4, David Smith from Charlotte takes home the 1st place prize and trophy with his round of +10 82.  He bested 2nd place finishers, Reid Kieswetter from Brentwood and Bryan James from Greenbrier, by two as both finishes with rounds of +12 84. In a 4th place tie at +18 90 were Jamal Browning from Nashville and Wade Williams from Nolensville. 

    In Division 5, Bon Aqua’s Aaron Baggett takes 1st place by five strokes with his +21 93. Ryan Timmons from College Grove had his hands around trophy midway through the back nine, but let it slip, finishes in 2nd place with his round of +26 98.
