We had 46 players come to Bermuda Run CC. The players were invited with perfect weather in 80’s. The course was in fantastic shape and if you are in the Winston Salem area it’s a must play.
In Division 1, Kyle Moffett continues his stunning play and lapsed the field for the victory with a score of 66(-4) to win by 5 shots over Ivan Jones 71(+1). Kyle Moffett has played well enough to make a push for NPOY and Local Player of the year.
In Division 2 we had 2 solid performances from Terry Newsome and Spurling Cook with a score of74(+4) to force a playoff. The players took off to the first playoff and Terry Newsome was able to secure the victory with a par. Cook and Newsome will split Senior Double Dip victory. In Division 2 we had a 3-way tie for 3rd place. Micheal Mullins, J Combs and Jimmy Popp all shot 75(+5).
In Division 3 we had a couple of solid performances by Juan Sedano and Brycen Younkman. The players both shot 75(+5) to force another playoff for Bermuda Run West event. The players tied the first hole and headed to the second hole where Juan Sedano secured the victory. Sedano has won back-to-back tournaments in playoff fashion. Sedano also won the Senior Double Dip contest.
In Division 4 Gary Nivens played very solid golf and was able win both Open and Senior Double Dip with a score 81(+11) to win by 2 shots over Wayne Bishop and David Rosier with scores of 83(+13).
In Division 5 Keith Thomas secured the victory by 1 shot with a score of 94(+24) over Mike Charles 95(+25). Thomas secured the Senior Double Dip victory as well.
