We had a sold-out event this Sunday and turned out to be a great Spring day to play golf. Although the greens were not in the best shape, we had some low scores and good competition. There were close scores all around.
Winner – Division 1: Cal Coker (73)
We had a tie for first place between Andrew Morsinkhoff and Cal Coker, causing a one-hole sudden death play-off. Guest, Cal Coker won with a birdie, taking home the trophy, and becoming one of the newest members of the DFW/APT Chapter. Kyle McWilliams came in one-stroke behind them with a 74 for 3rd place.
Winner – Division 2: Chad Norris (75)
Oh, so close in this Divisional race for 1st. Chad Norris came in 1st place finishing his round with a 75. One-stroke behind him was Zoey Daneshfar taking 2nd place with a 76 and for 3rd place, Chris Force came in with a 77.
Winner – Division 3: Tye Sasin (86)
Another close race and a one-stroke lead took 1st place in Division 3. The winner, Tye Sasin came in today with an 86, while Brian Downe and Rann Coker came in 2nd with an 87. Brian Downe took the 2nd place spot via a scorecard play-off with Rann Coker taking 3rd.
Winner – Division 4: Richard Klier (81)
New member, Richard Klier took 1st place with an 81 today. Another new member, Ralph Huszar claimed 2nd place with an 85 while guest, Justin Grzybowski, scoring an 89 took 3rd place. Justin is now a new member of the DFW/APT Chapter.
Winner – Division 5: Todd Robello (94)
Todd Robello came in with a 5-stroke lead scoring a 94. Coming in 2nd was guest, Eric Watson with a score of 99 and is now another of our newest members of the DFW/APT Chapter. In 3rd place, Tommy Chang had a 100.
Winner – Senior Net – Jalil Daneshfar
We had 22 players in the Senior Net today. Jalil Daneshar took 1st place with a net score of 72. Burnie Rodgers came in 2nd place with a 75 and Brian Downe was our 3rd place winner with a net score of 78.
