2023 Lexington Stableford Results
We had a perfect day at The Revere Golf Club in Henderson for the Lexington Stableford. The golf course was in perfect condition with deep rough and fast greens.
Division 1 – Another steady performance by Josh Crossen [43] holding off Brandon Foster [41] for a two-shot win. Josh is certainly on a roll and has his sights set on The National Championship in Myrtle Beach this September.
Division 2 – Chapter director Hendra Wijaya [37] made his presence felt holding off hard charging Ben May [32] to win his first ever tournament on the Amateur Players Tour. Congratulations Hendra on getting that first win.
Division 3 – Three in a row for Gary Rapoza [36]. Gary held off Michael Haas [35] and Chase Burbank [34] to secure his third victory of the season. Gary has himself in a great position for player of the year and the 2023 National Championship.
Division 4 – Joey Filippi [31] backed up his first win with another championship at The Revere Golf Club holding off David Teator [29]. Joey was 2022 player of the year and has a firm hold on the points standing trying to repeat in 2023.
Division 5 – Mick Godfrey [19] got his first win on APT tour with this impressive performance holding off Matt Coleman [15]. Congratulations Mick on the win and many more to come.
Senior Net – Longtime APT member Michael Haas delivered another impressive performance winning another Senior Net Championship with a 1-point victory over Division 3 Champion Gary Rapoza. The competition is heating up with these two players playing solid golf midway through the season.
Congratulations to all the Champions at Lexington Stableford 2023.
