he course conditions for Buffalo Creek were great! Although it became windy as the morning progressed, we did not encounter any of the expected rain, leaving the course at our fingertips for picking up some great scores.
We would like to extend our appreciation to the Buffalo Creek staff for their hospitality and readiness to assist to make our event seamless.
Winner – Division 1: Camden Rafferty (73)
Camden was one of our guests who came to compete with the Division 1 players, winning with a 4-stroke lead, finishing with a 73. Another D1 APT guest, Bill Kinney, scored well, finishing with a 77 and Brad Branch, scoring a 79, came in for third place.
Winner – Division 2: Fraser Singleton (74)
D2’s round was a close one today! Fraser, first year APT member, played a great round today and claimed 1st place, scoring a 74. On his heels were Chad Norris and Noah Moran chasing him for the win. Both of these players came in with a 75 for a tie in 2nd place with Chad winning by way of a scorecard playoff.
Winner – Division 3: Tye Sasin (81)
Another close one in our D3 group with only a 2-stroke difference between 1 and 3rd! Tye shot an 81, winning first place by 1 stroke as James Corujo was just behind him coming in for 2nd place with an 82. Richard Klier was in the chase and brought a final score of 83 to claim 3rd. Great race guys!
Winner – Division 4: Rick Swanson (84)
Rick Swanson overtook his division today with a 5-stroke lead and taking home the trophy. In 2nd place, Vincent Albano, and Carlos Chavez ties for 2nd place with Vincent winning the scorecard play-off. Both scored an 89 for the finish.
Winner – Division 5: Robert Haynes (90)
New member and 1st tournament player, Robert Haynes took 1st place bringing in a score of 90. Chasing him for the win was Houston member, Eddie Haynes who finished 2-strokes behind him bringing in a 92. Carding a score of 93, Tommy Chang came in 3rd place.
Winner – Senior Net – Chad Norris
We had 17 players in the Senior Net today. We had a tie for 1st place with
Chad Norris and Rick Swanson. By way of a scorecard play-0ff, Chad took the 1st place position, winning the trophy. Coming in 3rd was Tye Sasin with a net score of 75.
We had numerous winners in our Skins Games.
