The Amateur Players Tour St. Louis visited Aberdeen Golf Club in Eureka, MO. Designed by renowned golf course architect Gary Kern, Aberdeen Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72, links style golf course.
In Division 1, Dylan Davidson had a good day on the course making four birdies on the day shooting one over-par 73. David Daubach of Columbia, IL tied with Davidson also shooting one over-par 73. Newcomer, Andrew Wuethrich won his first event on Tour shooting an astounding three under-par 69. Joseph Finn of St. Louis, MO was crowned the Division 1 Senior champion.
In Division 2, it was a race to the 18th hole. We had a three-way tie for second between Kent Van Cleve, Colin Dollar, and Todd Feuerhaken all shooting five over-par 77 for the round. Michael Konuch was crowned Division 2 and Division 2 Senior champion. Konuch shot four over-par 76 to clinch his first victory in Division 2.
In Division 3, Mark Ralph of Ellisville, MO had a great day on the links. Ralph shot seven over-par 79 to take home 3rd in Division 3 and 1st in the Division 3 Senior competition. Josh DeJarnette had a consistent day shooting five over-par 77 to take home a second-place finish. Tyler Brooks had his best round of the season shooting four over-par 76 to take home his first win of the 2023 season.
In Division 4, we had a three-way tie for second between Dolly Buenaventura, Mike Scalera, and Dave Parker all shooting thirteen over-par 85 on the day. The big winner of the day was Norm Toon. Toon shot ten over-par 82 to take home his first victory in Division 4 and Division 4 Senior.
In Division 5, Esther Flora of Fenton, MO took home a 3rd place finish shooting twenty-five over-par 97. Josh Burnett had a good day shooting twenty-three over-par 95 in a strong 2nd place finish. Bill McMahan shot lights out to finish sixteen over-par 88 to take home his first win of the 2023 season. Doug Sinn shot twenty over-par 92 to take home the Division 5 Senior victory.
