Thank you to all the players that made it to Wolf Creek! What a great course even with the wet course conditions and the rain! We had a great turnout and some close battles in the Divisions. Congrats to our winners!
Division 1
Mike Weathers drove all the way from Northern Alabama and came away with a "W"! Mike started out strong by going even par through his first 3 holes! He was able to show his consistency and grit by playing the last 4 holes in one under! Well playing Mike! Congrats to Max Dixon on his first APT tournament with Atlanta! Max played very well till he ran into the 8th hole. That was the only big blemish on the scorecard today. Well played Max!
Division 2
Derek Foulke started out HOT with a front nine 34 and kept the pedal down with a back nine score of one under 35 for a 3 under score of 69! Well done Derek! Congrats to Stew Kremer on a great round! Stew shot a 4 over round of 76 today in some challenging conditions! Also congrats to Roger Gillum who came in 3rd place shooting a round of 7 over 79 with Laryngitis! As they say, "Be aware of the sick golfer!"
Division 3
Johnny Croley showed up to the course and never let his foot off the gas to become our Division 3 winner! Johnny started out with a great front nine score of 39 and was able to hang on for the victory over Brett Fuller. Brett has been away from the game of golf for quite some time but was able to quickly get into the swing of things! And congrats to Steve Greb who came in 3rd.
Division 4
Congrats to our winner Demetrius Minor! Demetrius has played in some tournaments before, so he didn't think that the tournament was over when he was 6 behind the leader. Demetrius was able to stay steady and was able to come out on top by 1 shot! Sammy Sedman was looking for another win this year but just came up short today. Well played Sammy and thanks for coming down to Atlanta and playing! And congrats to Dayton Anderson who came all the way from NC to come and play! Thanks for coming Dayton and well played!
Division 5
Congrats to Ronnie Bennet for coming down from TN and coming out with the "W"! Ronnie's game has kept improving since he's been playing on tour and his scores have shown it! And congrats to APT Tour newcomers Stephen Raymore and Kip Moore who tied for 2nd place! Well played gents and thanks for coming out!
Atlanta's next tour stop is at the private course of Hamilton Mill in Dacula, GA on Monday, April 26th, 11am tee times. Hope to see you out there!
