Walnut Creek Country Club Tournament Results

The weather in Goldsboro, NC was very hot and humid for golfers to come out and take on Walnut Creek CC. The golf course was very healthy and in great shape. Looking forward to returning to this track in the future. 

In Division 1 we had a seesaw battle between David White(73) and Park Williams(74) (senior winner). The largest deficit was 3 shots and that was quickly closed to 1 when David White held off Williams for the victory 

In Division 2 there were several players that played very well through the front nine. The leader on the front was J combs with 35 (-1) on the front. On the back nine Seth Hawkins making a push and closed and took the lead 75(+3). Pedro Montoya also made a push to close out 2nd place and senior winner. 

In Division 3 there was a very impressive performance by Anthony Stephenson (senior winner) as a number contenders held throughout the day. Stephenson 81 was good enough to win by 2 shots over Duane Fisher takes it with a score of 83. 

 In Division 4 players are trying to position themselves for a Local Player of the year race.  Chris Tuggle takes the victory to make things coming down the stretch very interesting in Division 4. Tuggle 85 good enough to win by 3.  Daniel Henris wins Senior Double dip 

In Division 5 Phillip Johnson wins with a score of 91 as he wins his first APT event.
