Southwest Virginia’s Battle at E-Town Results

On Sunday, the Tri-Cities/Southwest Virginia chapter had our seventh tour stop at Elizabethton Golf Club in Elizabethton, TN. A buzz was in the air as players anxiously awaited getting the seventh tournament underway, earning valuable points towards qualifying for the inaugural North American Championship at Pinehurst Resorts in October. A competitive field faced sunny and hot conditions, but a golf course that was in excellent shape. 

In Division 1, Peyton Wilson battled his way to a +14 over 86 on his way to victory. 

In Division 2, Anthony Stout took home the victory with a even par 72. Todd Holmes finished five shots back with a +5 over 77. Jason Greenwell finished third six shots back at +6 over 78. 

In Division 3, Josh Holmes bested the field with a nice +13 over 85.

In Division 4, Samual Miller shot a solid +13 over 85 to take home the victory. Rob Luffman finished two shots back with a nice +15 over 87. Dylan Isaacs finished third four shots back with a strong +17 over 89. Troy Holmes finished forth six shots back with a nice +19 over 91. 

In Division 5, Brett St Clair continued his victory campaign by winning shooting a solid +20 over 92. Blake Fleenor and Scott Larcher finished the day in sunny conditions with a +32 over 104. 

From here, the APT moves to Wytheville Country Club on Saturday, June 19th. We look forward to seeing everyone for another exciting APT. Register Here
