The Club at 12 oaks provided temperatures in the 90s but we had 32 players ready to compete We would like to thank the staff and management at the course for the opportunity to play this great track in the Triangle area. The course was set up very tough conditions with very slick greens.
In Division 1 David White played steady enough to catch the front nine leaders and pull away for the victory with a score of 77(+5) and Wesley Brown takes care of 2nd place with a score of 80(+8).
In Division 2 newcomer Jason Watkins cards the lowest round of the tourney with a 76(+4). Watkins thrive on the greens to pull away. In 2nd place newcomer Dave Field cards a 80(+*8) to win in scorecard playoff over Terry Newsome.
In Division 3 Warren Hackler secures his first victory of the year with a score of 82(+10) to win by 6 shots over Tj Eaves 88(+16). Hackler is now eligible for the Tournament of Champions national major in January 2022. Congratulations!!!
In Division 4 Spencer Brooks secures his 2nd victory in a row after winning at Governors Club earlier this month. Brooks is making a push late in the season in hopes to be in position at our Local Final tourney in October.
In Division 5 Ken Hansley Jr secured the victory today. The win makes Hansley a multi-winner season with APT. Hansley wins the event with 103(+31) to win by 5 over Jimmy Brooks.
