Saturday August 14th,2021 took us to the "Battle at the Sandmine" Harbor Link Golf club in Port Washington New York. It was a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and the players battled it out to claim their bragging rights! Let's see how they fared!
Division 1- What started out as a true foursome ended up being three as Brian Gallahue had to bow out mid round with a back injury. Ryan Campson (75) played lights out shooting 3 over and took home the hardware! Second place went to Chris Farley(79) while Steve Sullivan(83) rounded out the top 3! Congratulations on the win Ryan and we wish Brian a speedy recovery!
Division 2- Three strokes separated the top three in this fiercely competitive division but when the smoke cleared John Sheehan(75) stood alone atop the leaderboard! Second place went to Kevin Marshall(77) while Joe Arnold(78) and Kenny Lofaro(79) rounded out the top 4!
Division 3- One man would not be denied leading throughout the round, Justin Epstein(77) led from start to finish to take home the win! Second place Dennis Maloney(79) fell just short, while Dima Kuznetsov(82) took home third. Great round Justin!
Division 4- We have a first timer here! Sniffing around the leaderboard all year Jeff Marshall(87) finally broke through and took home his first win of the year! On his heels Kermit Bowen(88) and Chris Kehoe(88) took a share of second while Will Johnson(90) finished fourth! Congrats on the win Jeff, well deserved!
Division 5- Another round, another first-time winner here in div 5! Mike Milinic(87) brought his A game and was able to secure his first win of the year! Alan Ott(91) "Mr Second place" as he calls himself, took home second while John Balingit(94) secured third! Congratulations Mike on the well-deserved win!
