2023 Split Rail Golf Tournament Results

Split Rail hosted our first event in March with warm, dry but very windy conditions. There were some higher scores than normal which we will blame the winds as a contributor.

We had 9 guests and 8 Member guests competing with us this Sunday. We look forward to our next event at White Stone in just a few weeks and excited about rolling forward with the 2023 season.

Winner – Division 1: Clayton Smith (76)

Clayton was one of our guests who came to compete with the Division 1 players and won with a 3-stroke lead finishing with a 76. New member, Tucker Mullens came in behind Clayton with a 79 while Kaisone Chanthapanya scored an 80 for third place. Clayton has now signed up to be a member of the APT.

Winner – Division 2: Matthew Jones (83)

Matt is defending champion of Split Rail with a 2022 win under his belt and now clinched the 2023 champion’s spot. There were 3 others chasing him for the win; Raymond Dawson, Gabriel Knight and St. Louis member guest, Greg Garrett was one stroke behind him for the finish. All came in with a score of 84.

Another close one in our D3 group! New member, Lael Clark won first place by 1 stroke coming in with an 86. On his heels was Paul McGee for second with an 87 and Stu Kambury placing 3rd scoring an 88.
