The Nashville Chapter travelled east to Winchester and the Bear Trace at Tims Ford where 96 players competed across 5 divisions for a total prize pool over $3,600 and optional side games totaling over $2,000. The day started out with a chill in the air, but turned in to a beautiful spring day.

In Division 1, Nashville’s Brian Barry posts 3 birdies against 2 bogeys to score a one-under round of 70 to take 1st place over Old Hickory’s Brett Emmers, who finished the day with an even-par round of 71.  Tied for 3rd place were Derek Joslin from the Memphis chapter and Jared Parsons from the Atlanta chapter.  Both players finished at one-over rounds of 72.

In Division 2, John Bean from Nashville goes back-to-back with another win.  Bean finished his round at +4 75 and had to leaderboard-watch until all players were finished with their rounds.  John Perron from the Atlanta chapter takes home 2nd place with +5 76. Jack Buckley from Mt. Juliet was at-the-top for a good bit during the round; finishes at +6 77 and wins 3rd place.  Two players finish in a tie for 4th: Murfreesboro’s Eric Soloway and Chapel Hill’s Tim Ewing, who both finish at +7 78.

In Division 3, Nolensville’s Jack Hranec wins by two strokes over Murfreesboro’s Mike Burnett.  Hranec gets his 1st victory on-tour with his round of +6 77.  Burnett finishes at 79 +8.  In a tie for 3rd place were two players: Pegram’s Caleb Cart and Dickson’s Lowe Prescott who both post rounds of +9 81.

In Division 4, Brentwood’s Reid Kieswetter runs away with the tournament and claims his 1st victory on tour with his round of +13 84.  Kieswetter wins by 5 strokes over 3 other players, all finishing in a tie for 2nd place.  Central Pennsylvania’s J. P. Perron, Bail Hall from Primm Springs and Joshua Cox from Dickson all post rounds of 89 +18.

In Division 5, Brentwood’s Rachel Guthrie was another leaderboard watcher as she was first out in her division as others in her division played their rounds.  Guthrie captured 1st place by one stroke with her round of +21 92.  Smyrna’s Chris Mayor finishes one-stroke back and takes home 2nd place with his round of 93.

The Open Net competition ended in a tie at-the-top with John Bean and Jack Buckley finishing at net -2 69.

The Senior Net competition was another tight one with Lowe Prescott capturing 1st with his net round of -1 70 while John Perron and Primm Springs Charlie Barrett finishing with net even par rounds of 70.
