Huntersville, NC.  The APT Event at NorthStone Country Club proved to be a difficult test for the field as there were a few pins that could have been considered “tough day pins”, with the perfect approach shot and a good putt, players could make birdies.  However, this was not the case for many who fell victim to putts and chips that ran away from the pin locations and sometimes off the green.

While the scores were higher than normal, it just demonstrated the ability of the division winners to persevere.

    In Division 1

Cody Sundberg from Charlotte emerged as the victor, securing the top position with a commendable score of +5 after carding a 77. Sundberg’s performance earned him the coveted first-place title and a prize of $315.00.

Rell Fields, also from Charlotte, claimed the second position with a score of +7 following a round of 79. Fields secured a well-deserved second place and a prize of $160.00.

The Charlotte Chapter will now take a little break until February from their local schedule as the weather in December and January can get a little iffy.  However, there are plenty of events down around Myrtle Beach and Charleston as these chapters will go throughout the winter months.
