    The 2024 season has begun!  The wrap-around season started this past Sunday at Greystone Golf Club. It is the first of three fall events before winter sets in. Sixty-four players teed it up to compete for prizes totaling over $4,100.  The weather was a welcomed change as the temps were in the 60s with abundant sunshine. 

    In Division 1, newcomer Jameson Beard from Nashville capitalized on his steady play of 15 pars and two birdies to post one-under 71 and win by two strokes over Ed McDugle from Memphis who shot two-over 73. 

    In Division 2, two players tied at the top after 18 holes. Reigning Division 2 Player of the Year, Tom Foster from Murfreesboro and Will Norman from Columbia both finished their rounds tied at five-over 77. The playoff started and ended on the par 4 opening hole with Foster taking the victory. Lenny Beachy from Hendersonville, who finished one stroke out of the playoff, takes 3rd place with his six-over round of 78.  

    In Division 3, Don Weiss Jr from Dickson outlasted another Dicksonian, Alex Richardson to capture the 1st place prize. Weiss finished the day at six-over 78 to win by two strokes over Richardson. Kevin Smith from Lebanon take home 3rd with an eleven-over round of 83. 

    In Division 4, Wade Williams from Nolensville secured victory on the last hole and took the win by one-stroke over Josh McPherson from Burns and Cody Ray from Lafayette. Williams posted an 85 to sneak out the one-stroke win over McPherson and Ray, who both posted rounds of 86. 

    In Division 5, David McDow from Lynnville snags his 1st win of the young season with his round of 95 to outlast Charlie Barrett from Primm Springs, who posted 97. Thurman Boyd from Smyrna finished with a 99 and leaves with the 3rd place prize.  

    In Senior Net, Ed McDugle leverages his 2nd place finish in Division 1 to take the Senior Net 1st place prize. McDugle posts one-under NET 71 and best Neil Master from Nashville and James Newkirk from Brentwood.  Both Master and Newkirk finished with NET 75 (+3)
