Ridgepointe Country Club hosted the largest Arkansas Chapter event this season. Seventy-Two Players representing Chapters from Arkansas, Tulsa, Memphis, Birmingham, Atlanta, Nashville, and Dallas/Ft. Worth would make the trip to Jonesboro, AR. to battle it out to claim the title of champion. With perfect weather conditions and great course conditions we would see some great scores posted on this beautiful Dave Bennett designed golf course.
In Division 1
Matthew Johnson and Ed McDugle both from Memphis, would find themselves in a playoff for first place after both posting a total score of 78. McDugle and Johnson would head back out to hole #18 to battle it out for the title of champion. Matthew Johnson would make par on the first playoff hole to claim the victory. Ed McDugle would finish in second and Jeff Dickey would finish in third place with a total score of 80.
In Division 2
Jack Johnson, a Jonesboro native would claim his first win on the APT at his home course posting a total score of 75. Chris Schlette would finish in second place posting a total score of 80. Jeff Avant would finish in third place posting a total score of 81.
In Division 3
Rich Busby would claim the Win posting a total score of 80. Kenny Swann would finish in secon place posting a total score of 83. Brian Buchanan would finish in third place posting a total score of 85.
In Division 4
Rich Langley would take home the trophy posting a total score of 81. Turner Holland would finish in second place posting a total score of 85. Rob Luter and Adam Wright would finish tied for third, both posting matching scores of 86.
In Division 5
Yul Eslinger would take home the Victory posting a total score of 92 to over take Larry Burrow and Trey Harrell who both tied for second posting matching scores of 94. Tony Wright would finish in Fourth place posting a total score of 96.
Senior Net
Rich Langley would post a net score of 66 to take home the trophy in the Senior Net Event. Jack Johnson would finish in second place posting a net score of 71. Brian Buchanan and Linda Wallace would finish tied for third, both posting a net score of 72.
