The summer weather was in full effect in NC at Deep Springs CC and it was perfect with temperatures of 80+ degrees.
In Division 1 the entire field was within 2 shots of each other coming down the stretch and Deep Springs Member Park Williams used local knowledge to pull the victory out. The score of 78(+6) was good enough for the victory. Williams also secured the Senior Double Dip Victory
In Division 2 this was the performance of the day. Blaine Dalton, another member of Deep Springs scored a 73(+1) to win by 10 shots over the runner up. Terry Newsome secured the Senior Double Dip victory.
In Division 3 we had our tightest battle between JT Bradley and Deep Springs member Julian Thompson. Bradley was in the lead group of Division 3 and with a par-birdie-birdie finish he was able to post a score of 80 (+8). Thompson finished at 82(+10). Thompson secures the Senior Double Dip victory
In Division 4 we had Dave Funkhouser card a score of 89(+17) and waited for Andy Parker of Kernersville, NC to finish. Parker needed a par on the 18th hole to force playoff and came up short by 1 shot. Funkhouser also secured the Senior Double Dip victory.
