APT Maryland held its third event of the 2024 season. 60 players from different tours. We were blessed with good weather, laughter and friendship. Folds of Honor raffle was also conducted.
Division 1:
Eight D1 players could not chase down Dan Ayars, Dan was in mid-season form and fired a 68 and cruised to victory. Dan comes from New Jersy. Ian Patterson, Maryland Chapter came in second and Chris Maresco was third.
Division 2:
20 D2 players battled it out down to the last few holes. Mike Vawter from the Maryland chapter, played super steady all day, shot a 73 and won by two over John Burkley, who is also from the Maryland chapter. Third was from the Virginia Capital, Marco Zarate and fourth was William Buzinski.
Division 3:
12 Players just couldn’t catch Rick Knepp, the chapter owner of Central PA. Rick was rock solid for a one-shot victory over fellow PA member John Friedman, Mike Long and Charlie Hertel both from Maryland
Division 4:
11 players could not keep pace with Jacob Autrey, Jacob four shot victory was over Andre Johnson and Berry Neun. All players were from the Maryland Chapter
Division 5:
Nine players battled it and came down to James Sims holding on a three-shot victory over Curtis Berstler. Both James and Curtis are from the Maryland Chapter
Senior/Open Net:
The Senior Net went to Mike Vawter and the Open Net was won by Dan Ayars
The winner of the Folds of Honor 50/50 raffle was won by Dan Ayars.
