Las Vegas Summer Blast Results

APT Las Vegas visited Mountain Falls Golf Club in Pahrump, Nevada this past Sunday where 40 players battled for the trophy. A bit off the beaten path and worth the drive, here you will find a blend of unique characteristics: visually stunning surroundings, highly professional service and a course that is both challenging and relaxing – earning the description of “Nevada’s Desert Jewel” by GolfDigest. The course was in great shape and greens were rolling true. What a perfect day to host this event.  

Division 1 Champion – Brody Adams [73] 

Both John Benyo [73] and Brody Adams [73] played solid round all day until. It came down to a playoff between John Benyo and Brody Adams from St. George. On the first playoff hole, Benyo missed a birdie putt short to win the playoff. Then they went back to play the same hole where Adams drove his ball in the middle of fairway and Benyo pulled his drive to the left. Benyo hit his second shot a bit too long and made par. Adams put his ball about 4 feet right of the pin and made his birdie putt to win the match. Congratulations Brody on the steady play and winning the playoff. 

Division 2 Champion – Tom Sadorf  [76] 

Thomas Sadorf [76] is a multiple winner in his division this year. Playing very solidly this Sunday secured his win over Erick Andrachik [80] who took second place. Sadorf said he’s ready to play in Division 1 next year. Sadorf is our tour veteran and has been playing well in the last few tournaments. Watch out for this player. Nashville here he comes… Well Played Thomas!!!! 

Division 3 Champion – Corey Verret [82] 

First-time winner from Las Vegas, Corey Verret [82] determined to win an APT tournament this year, and he DID IT with his solid 39 on the front nine and saved par on hole 18 secured him the win by 1 stroke from Mark Walker [83] who took second place. Congratulations Corey!!! 

 Division 4 Champion – Mike Haas [81] 

Another multiple winner, Mike Haas [81], played very solid and was able to secure his win this past Sunday by 3 strokes over Angelo Cino [84] who took second place. Haas said he is planning to play in the National Championship for 2023 for sure. That is very exciting to hear. Congratulations again to Mike Haas. 

 Division 5 Champion – Michael Cosselman [89] 

This is an APT Tour player that is on fire. Michael was exchanging led positions all day with his playing partners but came through in the end for the 3 shot victory over second place Michael Sherman [92] .    This is Michaels fourth win this season.    

Congratulations to Michael Cosselman for the victory and to Michael Sherman for taking second play. 

Senior Net Champion – John Benyo [70] 

His solid play this past Sunday earned him the Senior Net Championship title finishing with a net 70. Mike Haas took second place with a net [71]. Well played again John!
