Independence Open

The Tour will host the 3rd annual Independence Open this year at Big Cedar Lodge July 1st and 2nd. The tournament will be contested at Tiger Woods’ Payne’s Valley on Saturday, July 1st, and the Sunday round will be contested at Ozark National by Bill Coore/Ben Crenshaw, recently rated the #1 golf course in Missouri. There will be a fundraiser on Saturday benefiting Folds of Honor at the 19th hole at Payne’s Valley. Entry includes golf, cart, use of practice facility, tee gift, and prize pool. We have a small room block of rooms we have to fill at competitive rates to be able to secure the tee times. All rooms are double occupancy with 2 queen beds at Angler’s Lodge. Players will be competing for a huge prize pool, double points, and priority exemptions into upcoming majors and championships. Seniors 50 and over as of July 1st, 2023 will have the ability to “double-dip” and play in two events in one, both in the open field and a separate senior divisions.
