Kirk Hale (Houston Tour) shot a one under 71 in the first round and held on with a second round 75 (+2 overall) to win this two day regional event. 2nd place Andrew Morsinkhoff from the Dallas Ft Worth Tour finished +6 for the tournament.
In an exciting playoff, Jody Barrett with a 2 day score of 157 and who is an APT national director claimed the first place trophy over 2nd place Rafael Malaver (157) from the Houston Tour. One stroke behind in third place was Ken Dyke (158), and Tim Vanlandingham took 4th place with a two day score of 159.
1st place Bobby Breed (Dallas Ft. Worth tour chapter owner) shot a 76 in the second round (157 total) to overtake the first round leader Bob Goodside who took 2nd place with a total score of 160. 3rd place went to John Crawson (168).
1st place Robert Scarpati of the Houston Tour shot another 86 in the final round and had a two day score of 172 to overtake 2nd place George Smith's total score of 173, and 3rd place finisher Pat Ryan (182).
1st place Todd Nobles from the Houston Tour backed up his great first round of 85 with a 94 for a 179 two day total, and hung on to win over 2nd place Chase Burk (182) and 3rd place Juan Dorado (185)
Senior Net Division
1st Bobby Breed (Div 3 winner) double dipped the prize pools with his overwhelming 15 stroke win (131 net) over 2nd place Ken Dyke (146). 3rd place tie with two day net total of 148 went to Mark Gonzales and Bob Goodside.
